Dear Bobbi,
being the dark haired type I have unruly brows which I pluck regularly - below the brows. Yet I have several, if not to say many, stray hairs above the natural brow line. One magazine tells you to not ever pluck above, others tell you it is fine. What is your opinion on that - is plucking above the brows ok or would there be any negative consequences?
Thanks!
MJ
Hi MJ-
I agree that plucking can sometimes be frustrating. If you feel agitated, you may end up doing too drastic a job, so try not to be too hasty. Start by removing the hairs that appear above your nose, between the two brows. Next, remove any obviously stray hairs below the brow. The rule along the length of the brow is to pluck only from beneath the brow. If you still feel uncomfortable about the hairs above your brow, you may want to go for a professional tweezing or waxing. One appointment may be all you need: Once you establish the correct shape, the upkeep is easy.
